The Ask KarmaWheel Wizards — 17 Guided Question Flows

The free-form AI Chart Chat is great for general questions, but sometimes you have a specific question type that benefits from a structured flow — pick a chart, answer a few prompts, get a focused AI-written answer. That's what the Ask KarmaWheel wizards are for.

There are 17 wizards in KarmaWheel. Each is a multi-step guided flow tailored to a specific question.

How to open them

The wizard menu is at Features → Ask KarmaWheel (or via the floating "Ask KarmaWheel" button on phones). Tap the wizard you want, follow the prompts (usually 2–4 steps), and the AI generates a focused answer at the end.

The 17 wizards

Chart-based interpretation

These wizards take a chart and produce an AI-written reading on a specific theme.

Ask Anything About Your Chart — pick any saved chart and ask one open question. Same as the chart-view chat panel, but in a wizard format.
Where Am I in My Dasha? — explains your current Mahadasha / Antardasha / Pratyantar in plain language, what this period emphasizes, and when major shifts are coming.
What's Coming Up? — a forward-looking 6–18 month forecast combining your active dasha with major upcoming transits.
Sade Sati for Me — a Sade Sati reading for your specific chart (not generic). Identifies which phase you're in or coming up on, what your particular Saturn-Moon dynamic predicts.
Year Ahead — a yearly forecast. Pick a starting date; the wizard generates a month-by-month outline.

Specific-domain readings

Health Themes in My Chart — read for health based on the 6th house, ascendant, Sun, and natal Moon-Saturn relationship.
Career Themes in My Chart — read for career based on the 10th house, the four career karakas (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn), and the active dasha.
Past Event Explainer — describe something memorable that happened in your life (year + brief description); the wizard reverse-engineers what was astrologically active and explains why.

Daily / timing wizards

Is Today Good for X? — pick an activity (travel, signing a contract, asking someone out, having a tough conversation, etc.); the wizard checks today's panchanga, Tarabala, Chandrabala, current dasha, and gives a yes/no/maybe with reasoning.
Best Day for X (this month/year) — given a target activity, scans a date range and returns the most-auspicious dates.
Good Today — a simple "is today good for me overall?" reading combining all the daily indicators for your specific chart.

Synastry / compatibility

Compatibility Analysis (Synastry) — pick two charts; the wizard computes Ashtakoota, examines bi-wheel patterns, runs HITS, and generates a long-form AI synastry reading. Pro feature.

Specialized

Remedies — based on your weakest planets and afflictions, suggests classical remedies (mantras, gemstones, charity, day-of-week practices, deity worship).
Baby Name Suggestions — pick a child's chart (or birth date if not yet calculated); returns name-letter suggestions based on the child's Janma Nakshatra and pada.
Email a Chart — send any saved chart as a polished PDF to any email address.
Email AI Reading — generate a multi-page AI-written interpretation and email it as a PDF.
Save Someone's Chart — quick wizard for saving a friend's or family member's chart with their birth data, no need to navigate to the entry form.
First-Time Setup — the wizard that runs the first time you open KarmaWheel. Helps you set chart style, ayanamsha, traditions, Gayatri reminders, and optionally save your own birth data. You can re-run this any time from the wizard menu if you want to adjust settings.

Why use a wizard vs. open chat

The wizards are useful when you want:

A specific output format — synastry needs structured comparison, baby names need nakshatra-based filtering. Wizards prompt the AI with the right structure.
Less typing — pick options and tap Next instead of composing a question.
Better answers for niche questions — the wizard has been carefully written to ask the AI in a way that produces good output for that question type. Free-form chat sometimes wanders.
A mobile-friendly flow — wizards present one question at a time, easy on phones.

For general open-ended questions, the chart-view chat panel is better. For "I want this specific kind of reading," use the wizard.

All wizards count toward your daily AI cap

Like the free-form chat, wizards use Anthropic Claude under the hood. Each wizard answer counts as one Standard or one Deeper response toward your daily cap (15 + 4 per day). Compatibility analysis and Year Ahead, being long answers, count as Deeper.

The header of each wizard shows your remaining quota. If you hit the cap, the wizard shows a friendly banner explaining the reset time.

Practitioners delivering readings: use Email AI Reading to send clients a substantial preliminary reading they can review before a live consultation.
Couples: run Compatibility Analysis (Synastry) with both partners' saved charts.
Anyone making a big decision: Best Day for X to find an auspicious window.
